ACTOR RAGHUVARAN PASSES AWAY

The famous villain of Kollywood Raghuvaran died today in Mehtha Hospital , Chennai. He had been suffering from health problems for quite some time but nobody knew that it was this serious. Cardiac arrest due to excessive consumption of alcohol is supposed to be the reason behind the actor's untimely death.
Raghuvaran was born on December 11, 1948. He shot to fame through the award winning film, Ezhavathu Manithan (1982). Anjali, Batsha, Puriyatha Puthir and Mudhalvan are some of the films in which we see this versatile actor at his best. He had acted with Rajinkanth in many films and the latest being Shivaji - The Boss. Bheemaa, Ashoka and Silanerangalil were the three 2008 releases in which he had played a vital role , he had also acted as Dhanush's father in the yet to be released 'Yaradee Nee Mohini'.

His death is indeed a great blow to the cine world as he will not be gracing its screens again. Let us pray for his soul to rest in peace.
